Bump cutter RSG 1750
Bump cutters are mobile grinding machines for the treatment of surfaces made of concrete or asphalt. A grinding shaft, equipped with diamond saw blades and distance plates removes material in a grinding process. The working width depends on the used machine type and on the number and types of diamond saw blades. For make different surface patterns, the grinding shaft can be equipped with various combinations of blades and distance plates. In general, 3 methods are distinguished – grinding, grooving and bump cutting.
With a maximale working width of 1000 mm, the RSG 1750 is primarily designed for grinding and grooving. For the execution of bump cutting the machine can be equipped with an extension frame. The rotating brush (rotates in reverse direction), raises loose material from inside of the joint, such as slurry or small stones, to the front. The result is a largely dust-free joint, which forms the basis for the durability of the sealing compound to be poured into the joint in the next step.
The RSB 120 is equipped with a two-stage air filter which effectively prevents the penetration of dust into the motor. The filter cartridge can be replaced without tools.
