The KOLLER Power Torque was designed for the fast and precise making or breaking of threaded connections on completion strings. The base frame supports a turnable chuck that contains one of two vises that can be rotated by hydraulic cylinders.

The second stationary vise can be moved horizontally on rollers and driven by a hydraulic motor. Rocking movements during the fitting of connections are avoided by the adjustable guides. Each vise is equipped with it‘s own hydraulic power unit for the hydraulic supply.

The Power Torque is controlled from a operation panel outside the hazard area. It is equipped with all necessary buttons/switches, a touch screen for setting the parameters of the hydraulic pressures and torques and a joystick for moving the sliding chuck.
